MY STORY

Hi, I'm Harry,  a UK based artist and printmaker, influenced by the landscapes and wildlife that can be found near my home in Dorset.

My work is driven by my passion for the outdoors and my desire to connect with nature and the landscape. My work aims to express a sense of place and document my experiences outdoors and is firmly routed in drawing.

Working with many different materials, I draw on my nature journaling, field work and on location research in order to produce layered illustrations and mixed media paintings. Although many of my images created in the field are finished pieces in themselves, some are developed in the studio into expressive drawings, digital patterns or prints.

Clients include the National Trust, Exbury Gardens and Dorset Wildlife Trust. 

I run nature journaling workshops along the South Coast, and am the founder of the Dorset Wildlife Trust Nature Journal Club.
